Kate Moss  is planning to marry her rocker lover at London’s Claridge’s
hotel.

The cat walk beauty- who started dating The Kills guitarist Jamie Hince last
August - was seen picking up wedding brochures at the plush venue sparking
rumours she plans to hold her nuptials there followed by a lavish reception
in one of the many decadent ballrooms.

A source said: “Kate looked radiant when she came by to pick up the wedding
brochures. She has the air of a woman who is loved and looked after.”

Kate regularly visited Claridge’s when she was dating Babyshambles frontman Pete Docherty

However, since their split last July, she has favored Dorchester
hotel, where she held her 34th birthday party earlier this month.

The source added: “It was generally assumed Claridge’s was a bolthole for
her and Pete and she wouldn’t be back again, so you can image the buzz when
she showed up.”

You Just Got Engaged & You’re Going to a Wedding Show

Whether the engagement ring is on her finger or not, attending a wedding show is a lot of fun, especially for the bride-to-be. Generally an expectant groom will not go to a wedding show alone or with the guys, while an expectant bride will almost always be accompanied by someone. She may be with her fiancé, her mom, her sister, her friends or even her mother-in-law-to-be or with everyone in tow at once. She may not be a first time bride and she may not be young and giddy, but no matter what, going to a wedding show will very likely drive home the reality that she/they will be getting married!

What is a Wedding Show?

A wedding show or bridal expo is a trade show of sorts especially set up to introduce brides and engaged couples to the world of wedding services. It is a one-stop shop to find wedding reception venues and many of the support services needed to plan a wedding.

What waits inside is amazing; the lavishness and size usually vary by the hosting venue of the particular show. You will be able to meet musicians and florists, officiates and ministers, tuxedo rental, linen rental and other rental representatives, gown shop proprietors with sample gowns, makeup and spa treatment providers, bridal magazines, registries and more. You will be able to sample the food from one or more caterers and taste wedding cakes and other dessert treats from one or more bakers. All these wedding service providers (aka vendors) - all in one place! Often the participating musicians will perform wedding appropriate musical selections to really enhance the mood.

Entertaining Your Wedding Guests Between the Ceremony and the Reception

Tuesday, January 29th, 2008

Heres 6 tips from a recent article at ezinearticles.com

Have you ever arrived at a wedding reception only to wait an extended period of time for the bride and groom because they are taking wedding photos? This transition time between ceremony and reception can be awkward for your guests if you have not planned ahead. There are several things you can do to make this transition go more smoothly for you and your wedding guests.

  • Assign a couple of friends or family members to act as reception greeters. Your greeters can point guests in the direction of refreshments, where to place wedding gifts, where to place coats, signing of the guest book, and seating arrangements. Your wedding guests will be thankful to have such knowledgeable assistance when they arrive at your reception.
  • Plan to have refreshments for your wedding guests, this can be anything as simple as cookies or candy, to appetizers or vegetable trays. What better way to keep your guests happy and busy than to feed them!
  • Prior to your reception, place disposable cameras on the reception tables. Your wedding guests can begin taking photos of each other before the bride and groom arrive and steal the show. You will look back and cherish these fun photos as your guests play around with the cameras.
  • Show an ongoing slide show or video of the bride and groom when they were children. Your guests are sure to get a kick out of all your goofy kid pictures!
  • Ask a friend or relative who owns a video camera to interview your wedding guests. You will definitely receive some fun and heart-felt comments you will cherish for years to come.
  • Provide a coloring table or simple craft table for your younger guests. The adults will be happy the children have something to occupy their time.
  • Create a small art gallery from photos you have taken together as a couple. Place your photos along one of the walls in the reception hall and your guests can attend your very own art gallery opening!
